The client approached me to develop a brand identity for a boutique hotel opening in Bodrum, aimed at travelers seeking a high-end escape rooted in nature. The goal was to create a brand that feels local yet luxurious — a place where design, culture, and experience come together for the modern getaway seeker. It needed to feel authentic, elevated, and distinct from generic resort aesthetics.
02 . The Solution
We began with the name Hotel Clementine — inspired by Bodrum’s citrus-growing heritage, but refined to evoke warmth and charm. The identity centers around a clean, elegant illustration of a mandarin tree, symbolizing both origin and character. A deep, natural green and soft tones detailing elevate the brand’s tone, while the in-situ photography captures the lifestyle it represents: considered, relaxed, and effortlessly upscale.
